Emily Dickinson (1830–86).  Complete Poems.  1924.

Part Three: Love

LVII

TITLE divine is mine
The Wife without
The Sign.
Acute degree
Conferred on me—        5
Empress of Calvary.
Royal all but the
Crown—
Betrothed, without the swoon
God gives us women        10
When two hold
Garnet to garnet,
Gold to gold—
Born—Bridalled—
Shrouded—        15
In a day
Tri-Victory—
  “My Husband”
Women say
Stroking the melody,        20
Is this the way?
