The Massylitan Martyrs in Africa
 
MENTIONED by Bede, 1 and famous in ancient calendars. We have a sermon preached by St. Austin on their festivals. 2 They suffered in Africa, and probably derived their name from Massyla, or the adjacent country, on the sea-coast.  1
