St. Anastasius, Surnamed the Younger, Patriarch of Antioch, Martyr
 
HE succeeded St. Anastasius I. In 610, he was slain by the Jews, in a sedition, on the 21st of December, and in the Roman Martyrology is honoured on that day as a martyr.  1
