o pater, o patria: o Priami domus,
saeptum altisono cardine templum,
uidi ego te adstaantem ope barbarica
tectis caelatis laqueatis        10
auro ebore instructam regifice…
haec omnia uidi inflammari,
Priamo ui uitam euitari,
louis aram sanguine turpari.
