The Bubble
By Oscar Williams

From “Golden Darkness”

WE have kings, and the deadly sins seven;

We have wars and quite a bit of trouble:
But God, ensconced in his heaven,
Watches through air blue as sky,        5
And delights in his beautiful bubble.
