SHE got on a car going down-town. She was a freshman, and when the conductor came around after her nickel she said:

  “Does this car go to Camp Randall?”  2
  “No, it goes down-town,” was the reply.  3
  “But it says on the front, ‘Football at Camp Randall to-day’; and doesn’t it go there?”  4
  “Yes,” said the conductor. “It says ‘Boston Baked Beans’ on one of the signs on the inside, but the car doesn’t go to Boston.”  5
  The young girl got off at the next corner.  6
