PREFIX:1. Above; over; upon: superimpose. 2. Superior in size, quality, number, or degree: superfine. 3a. Exceeding a norm: supersaturate. b. Excessive in degree or intensity: supersubtle. c. Containing a specified ingredient in an unusually high proportion: superphosphate. 4. More inclusive than a specified category: superorder.
