A making over of legal ownership or title: Law : alienation, assignment, conveyance, transfer, transferal. See LAW.
VERB:1. To recognize, often reluctantly, the reality or truth of: acknowledge, admit, avow, concede, confess, own (up). Slang : fess up. Chiefly Regional : allow. See AFFIRM, KNOWLEDGE. 2.
