ADJECTIVE:1. Having no change or variation: changeless, constant, equable, even1, invariable, invariant, regular, same, unchanging, uniform, unvarying. See SAME. 2. Indicating or possessing determination, resolution, or persistence: constant, determined, firm1, resolute, steadfast, stiff, tough, unbending, uncompromising, unflinching, unwavering, unyielding. See PURPOSE. 3. Firmly in position: fixed, immobile, immovable, stationary, steadfast, unmovable, unmoving. See MOVE. 4. Consistently reliable, especially because of resistance to outside pressures: stable, steadfast, steady-going. See CONTINUE. 5.
