NOUN:Whatever is destructive or harmful: badness, evil, ill. See HELP.
ADJECTIVE:1. Below a standard of quality: bum1, poor, unsatisfactory. Idioms: below par, not up to scratch (or snuff) . See GOOD. 2. Bringing, predicting, or characterized by misfortune: evil, ill, inauspicious, unfavorable, unpropitious. See LUCK. 3. Impaired because of decay: putrid, rotten. See BETTER, TASTE, THRIVE. 4. Morally objectionable: black, evil, immoral, iniquitous, peccant, reprobate, sinful, vicious, wicked, wrong. See RIGHT. 5. Causing harm or injury: deleterious, detrimental, evil, harmful, hurtful, ill, injurious, mischievous. See HELP. 6. Misbehaving, often in a troublesome way: ill-behaved, naughty. See CONTROL, GOOD. 7. Not pleasant or agreeable: disagreeable, displeasing, offensive, uncongenial, unpleasant, unsympathetic. Informal : icky. Slang : yucky. See GOOD, PAIN.
