(bäyämn´) (KEY) , city (1990 pop. 202,103), NE Puerto Rico, a residential, commercial, and industrial city. Founded in 1772, it is one of the oldest settlements on the island. It produces foods, metals, clothing, pharmaceuticals, and automotive parts.
