Induráin, Miguel
(Miguel Angel Induráin-Larraya) (mgl´ äng´khl ndrä´n) (KEY) , 1964, Spanish bicycle racer. In a career lasting from 1985 to 1997, he dominated European racing, winning the Tour de France, the sports best-known competition, five years in row (199195), becoming the first to win that many consecutively. Induráin was noted for his leg power and excelled in short time trials; he won the gold medal in the time trial at the 1996 Summer Olympic games.
