Mochi, Francesco
(fränchs´k mô´k) (KEY) , 15801654, Italian sculptor. Mochis attraction to the baroque aesthetic led him to create dramatic sculptures notable for swirling drapery (e.g., Archangel of the Annunciation, Mus. dellOpera del Duomo, Orvieto). His later work exhibited a more mannerist style.
