| | (w ´b r) (KEY) , river, c.125 mi (200 km) long, rising in the Uinta Mts., N central Utah, and flowing north and northwest to join the Ogden River at Ogden. The combined stream flows to the Great Salt Lake. The Weber has long been used for irrigation and is part of the U.S. Bureau of Reclamations Weber basin project. Among the dams on the Weber are Wanship Dam (completed 1957) and Echo Dam (completed 1931). | | |
