Black River Falls, town (1990 pop. 3,490), Jackson co., W central Wis., on both banks of Black R., c.45 mi/72 km SE of Eau Claire; 44°17'N 90°50'W. Trade center in timber and farm area; lumber; mfg. (machinery, frozen foods, transportation equip.). Winnebago Indian Reservation to E. Black River State Forest to E and S.
