Chattooga (chuh-TOO-guh), county (317; 1990 pop. 22,242), NW Ga., on Ala. state line; Summerville; 34°29'N 85°21'W. Hilly area, including part of Chattahoochee Natl. Forest (E). Agr. includes cotton, corn, hay, sweet potatoes, fruit; cattle, hogs, poultry; textile mfg., sawmilling. Formed 1838.
