Chattooga River
 
 
Chattooga River, 40 mi/64 km long, Ga., N.C., and S.C.; rises in the Blue Ridge in SW N.C.; flows SW, mostly along Ga.-S.C. state line, to a point just SE of Tallulah Falls, Ga., joining Tallulah R. to form Tugaloo R. Designated as a natl. wild and scenic river; popular white-water rafting venue. The movie Deliverance filmed here.
