Estill (EST-il), county (255 sq mi/660 sq km; 1990 pop. 14,614), E central Ky.; Irvine; 37°41'N 83°57'W. Drained by Kentucky R. (forms NW boundary; Red R. forms part of N boundary) and Station Camp and Red Lick creeks. Hilly agr. area (burley tobacco, hay, alfalfa, soybeans, corn; hogs, cattle). Daniel Boone Natl. Forest in E and S. Formed 1808.
