Lovelace.
 
The hero of Richardson’s novel called Clarissa Harlowe. He is a selfish voluptuary, a man of fashion, whose sole ambition is to ensnare female modesty and virtue. Crabbe calls him “rich, proud, and crafty; handsome, brave, and gay.”   1
