Tabulæ Rudolphnæ, 1627. Astronomical calculations begun by Tycho Brahé, and continued by Kepler, under the immediate patronage of Kaiser Rudolph II., after whom Kepler named the work.   1
        Rudolph gave Tycho Brahé an annuity of £1,500 sterling. George III. gave Herschel an annuity of £200.
