Skillygolee.
 
Slip-slop, wish-wash, twaddle, talk about gruel. “Skilly” is prison-gruel or, more strictly speaking, the water in which meat has been boiled thickened with oatmeal. Broth served on board the hulks to convicts is called skilly.   1
