Devil loves Holy Water (As the).
That is, not at all. The Roman Catholics teach that holy water drives away the Devil. The Latin proverb is, “Sicut sus amaricinum amat” (as swine love marjeram). Lucretius, vi. 974. says “amaricinum fugitat sus.”
