Hull.

“From Hull, Hell, and Halifax
Good Lord, deliver us.”
This occurs in Taylor, the water poet. Hull is not the town so called, but a furious river in Kingston, very dangerous. In regard to Halifax, the allusion is to the law that the theft of goods to the value of 13d. shall subject the thief to execution “by a jyn.”   1
