Fried Celery

Celery cut in three-inch pieces
Salt and pepper

Batter I, III, or V

Parboil celery until soft, drain, sprinkle with salt and pepper, dip in batter, fry in deep fat, and drain on brown paper. Serve with Tomato Sauce.
