.. HOW 1 wilt thou measure the portion of the limitless void of time which is allotted to any man?—So very quickly is it swallowed up and lost in the Eternal.	1
Or what portion he hath of the universal Substance?	2
Or what portion of the universal Life?	3
Reflecting on all this think nothing great, save only to act as thy nature leadeth, and to suffer what the common nature bringeth.	4
