Bartleby.com adds another American poet to its library of Pulitzer Prize winners with the publication of Edwin Arlington Robinson’s Collected Poems of 1921.

After being “discovered” by prolific magazine writer and U.S. President Theodore Roosevelt, Robinson was awarded the Pulitzer in three different years for his poetry. He applied his uniquely New England style to short despairful character studies as well as to longer dramatic retellings of Arthurian legend. His entire early spectrum is exemplified in the following volume, which contains 166 works:
