Bartleby.com holds a clue that will unlock a treasure chest containing more than $100,000 in cash and prizes for participants of CyberSurfari Spring ’01, an educational and fun expedition where players explore more than 100 hand-picked destinations throughout the Internet. CyberSurfari.org is designed to help students, teachers and families learn to benefit from surfing the Web safely and effectively at school and at home.

Running from March 23, 2001, the comprehensive online expedition is made possible by a 501-C3 nonprofit organization called the Children’s Web Surfing Alliance, Inc. and the contest’s generous sponsors including Lycos, Inc., Clever Island, Discovery School, Education World, Learning Network, Hewlett Packard, BigChalk.com, National Education Association, and Steck-Vaughn Publishing.
