Go on a CyberSurfari During NEA’s Read Across America
Students of all ages across the country will celebrate the joy of reading on March 1, 2002, the birthday of Dr. Seuss. This nationwide reading event is part of NEA’s Read Across America, sponsored by the National Education Association and many of America’s leading literacy, youth and civic organizations. To help kick off the fun, CyberSurfari is launching a special online treasure hunt to introduce students, their teachers and parents to great resources on the World Wide Web that are dedicated to READING!
This special NEA’s Read Across America CyberSurfari Challenge will include Bartleby.com as one of 15 outposts, or destination sites, where kids will unlock a treasure chest of great ideas about reading and qualify for a chance to win one of ten $25 gift certificates to an online bookseller. Join the fun! The treasure hunt will be available from December 21st through February 22nd.
