Academic writing. I believe
achieving this learning outcome can
help you succeed in college by
understanding what specific skills
are effective of scholarly or
professional writing.
Skills including properly planning
your writing, the structure and
format of your writing, audience
who you’re talking to, grammar etc.
Assignments completed that
helped me achieve this learning
outcome was our first assignment
with the Food Inc movie.
Throughout my research I was
able to look for reliable sources
such as journals and peer
reviewed articles. I also was able
to improve my writing skills
throughout the different assigned
journal entries.

Assignments completed in this course
that can help me understand and
achieve this learning outcome was the
Rhetorical analysis assignment and the
assignment where we did the library
research tutorial. That was helpful in
understanding how to research and
access important information. Also the
genre analysis journal entry was helpful
in project 2.
