In the story, “The Story of the Three Little Pigs”, it begs the question, who was the real villain: the third pig, or the big bad wolf? The pigs were being eaten by the but one of them, the third pig, had a different plan. The third pig was the best out of the three, some could say he was the most admirable of them all. The wolf was the big bad enemy in the beginning of the story because he was eating the little bigs and destroys their homes. But towards the end the third pig outsmarts the wolf and does the unthinkable. The third pig was the most admirable because he was intelligent, sly, and cruel. First off, all of the pigs wanted to make a house, but some of them did not choose the most sturdy of the house building materials. The third pig is intelligent, in fact, he is the most intelligent of the three pigs because he made a house of bricks, the most sturdy house building materials. The third pig made the right choice and thought about the plan before he did anything, he thought about the other pigs and corrected what they did to make his house better. In the text, it states, “Please, Man, give me those bricks to make a house with”. This quote shows that the pig has some knowledge about building houses that will actually stand if a gust of wind goes by. …show more content…

The pig now thought about what could happen, he could be eaten or he could go early and snag the fruit for himself. He made the right choice and out planned the wolf and came home with free food. In the text, it states, “when the wolf came up he said, ‘Little Pig, what! Are you here before me? Are they nice apples?’’Yes, very,’ said the little Pig; ‘I will throw you down one.’ And he threw it so far that, while the Wolf was gone to pick it up, the little Pig jumped down and ran home”(16/17).
