Jeremiah Chaplin (1813–1886)

Chaplin, Jeremiah. An American historical writer; born in Danvers, MA, 1813; died in New Utrecht, NY, March 5, 1886. He was author of: ‘Life of Charles Sumner’; ‘Life of Franklin’; ‘Riches of Bunyan’; ‘Life of Galen’; and ‘Life of Henry Dunster, First President of Harvard College’ (1872), which is a work of much historical value.
