Chivers, Thomas Holley. An American writer of verse; born in 1809; died in 1858. His home was in Georgia. He wrote: ‘Virginalia, or Songs of my Summer Nights’ (1853); ‘Atlanta’ (1855); ‘The Lost Pleiad.’
