Arne Einar Christiansen (1861–1939)

Christiansen, Arne Einar (krist’yen-sen). A Danish poet; born at Copenhagen, July 20, 1861; died in 1939. His first very promising prose comedy, ‘Lindow’s Bairns’ (1881), was followed by the prose tragedy ‘Nero’ (1885). He also wrote ‘Miss Bodil and her Brother’ (1888); ‘Letizia’ (1891); ‘Annette’ (1893); ‘Cosmus’ (1897); ‘Fatherland’ (1901).
