John Colet (1467?–1519)
Colet, John (kol’et). Born at London in 1467?; died there, Sept. 16, 1519. He was Dean of St. Paul’s and refounded the famous St. Paul’s school. His lectures on the Epistles of St. Paul were influential in spreading the new learning.
