Karl Gottlieb Cramer (1758–1817)

Cramer, Karl Gottlieb (krä’mer). A German story-teller (1758–1817). He wrote more than 40 novels and tales, which were read with delight in his day. The best of them is ‘The Life and Opinions of Erasmus Sneaker, Traveling Mechanic.’
