Orville Dewey (1794–1882)

Dewey, Orville. An American Unitarian clergyman and man of letters; born in Sheffield, MA, March 28, 1794; died there, March 21, 1882. Among his works are: ‘Discourses on Human Nature’ (1847); ‘Discourses on the Nature of Religion’ (1847); ‘The Problem of Human Destiny’ (1864).
