Edward Dicey (1832–1911)

Dicey, Edward. An English journalist, traveler, and author; born in Leicestershire, England, in 1832; died at London, July 7, 1911. From 1870 to 1889 he was editor of the Observer. Among his works are: ‘Rome in 1860’ (1861); ‘The Battlefields of 1866’ (1866); ‘A Month in Russia during the Marriage of the Czarewich’ (1867); ‘England and Egypt.’
