Gustav Theodor Drobisch (1811–1882)

Drobisch, Gustav Theodor (drō’bish). A German humorist and versifier; born in Dresden, Dec. 26, 1811; died there, April 15, 1882. His perception of the droll side of things is keen in ‘Conceits and Satires’ (1843) and similar collections of prose and rhyme.
