Daniel Clarke Eddy (1823–1896)

Eddy, Daniel Clarke. An American clergyman and writer; born in Salem, MA, in 1823; died in Martha’s Vineyard, MA, July 26, 1896. Among his numerous works are: ‘Burman Apostle’ (1850); ‘Percy Family’ (1852); ‘The Young Woman’s Friend’ (1855); ‘The Angel’s Whispers’; ‘Waiting at the Cross’; ‘Europa, or Scenes in the Old World’; and ‘The Young Man’s Friend.’
