Harry Stillwell Edwards (1855–1938)
Edwards, Harry Stillwell. An American journalist and author; born in Macon, GA, April 23, 1855; died in 1938. He graduated from the law department of Mercer University, and practiced law, but in 1871 entered journalism in his native city. He is well known as a writer of dialect stories. Among his works are: ‘Two Runaways, and Other Stories’ (1889); ‘Sons and Fathers’; ‘The Marbeau Cousins.’
