John Edwards (1747–1792)

Edwards, John, or Sion Ceiriog. A Welsh poet; born in Crogen Wladys, Glyn Ceiriog, 1747; died in London, Sept. 1792. He wrote a St. David’s Day ode and other pieces, and seems to have been a popular and accomplished character.
