Marie Jacques Joseph Victorin Fabre (1785–1831)

Fabre, Marie Jacques Joseph Victorin. A French rhetorician and versifier; born in Jaujac, Languedoc, July 19, 1785; died in Paris, May 19, 1831. He wrote ‘Little Works in Prose and Verse’ (1806); ‘The Death of Henry IV.’ (1808), a poem; and the eulogies on Boileau, Montaigne, and La Bruyère.
