Roswell Martin Field (1851–1919)

Field, Roswell Martin. An American journalist and writer; born in St. Louis, MO, Sept. 1, 1851; died in 1919. He wrote: ‘In Sunflower Land’ (1892); ‘The Romance of an Old Fool’ (1902); ‘The Bondage of Ballinger’ (1903); ‘Little Miss Dee’ (1904); ‘Madeline’ (1906). In ‘Echoes from the Sabine Farm’ he collaborated with his brother, Eugene Field.
