Worthington Chauncey Ford (1858–1941)

Ford, Worthington Chauncey. An American author and statistician; brother of the late Paul Leicester Ford; born in Brooklyn, NY, Feb. 16, 1858; died in 1941. He was chief of Bureau of Statistics at Washington, 1885–98, and lecturer of statistics University of Chicago, 1901. Author of: ‘The Standard Silver Dollar’ (1884); ‘George Washington’ (1899).
