St. John Emile Clavering Hankin (1869–1909)

Hankin, St. John. An English author and dramatist; born in 1869; died on June 19, 1909. Among his plays are: ‘The Two Miss Wetherbys’ (1903); ‘The Return of the Prodigal’ (1905); ‘The Charity that Began at Home’ (1906). He wrote also ‘Mr. Punch’s Dramatic Sequels’ (1901); and ‘Lost Masterpieces’ (1904), poems.
