Henry Heylyn Hayter (1821–1895)

Hayter, Henry Heylyn. An English statistician and author; born at Eden Vale, Wiltshire, Oct. 1821; died at Melbourne, Australia, March 23, 1895. He emigrated to Victoria, Australia, in 1852. His publications include: ‘Notes of a Tour in New Zealand’; ‘Notes on the Colony of Victoria’ (1875); ‘School History of Victoria’; ‘My Christmas Adventure, Carboona, and Other Poems’ (1887); besides scientific papers.
