Heaton, John Langdon. An American journalist and author; born in Canton, NY, Jan. 29, 1860; died in 1935. He wrote ‘The Story of Vermont’ (1889); ‘Stories of Napoleon’ (1895); ‘The Book of Lies’ (1896); ‘The Quilting Bee’ (1896); ‘The Story of a Page’ (1913).
