Adolf Ivar Arwidsson (1791–1858)

Arwidsson, Adolf Ivar (ör’vēds-son). A Swedish poet (1791–1858), chiefly known through his collection of ‘Old Swedish Folksongs’ (1834–42), which forms a supplement to that of Geijer and Afzelius. His own poems were published under the title of ‘Youth’s Hoarfrost’ (1832).
