Ellen Clementine Howarth (1827–1899)

Howarth, Mrs. Ellen Clementine (Doran). An American writer of verse; born at Cooperstown, NY, May 20, 1827; died at Trenton, NJ, in 1899. She published two volumes of verse (1864 and 1867). The best known of her poems are: ‘’Tis but a Little Faded Flower,’ and ‘Thou Wilt Never Grow Old.’
