John Beauchamp Jones (1810–1866)

Jones, John Beauchamp An American journalist and novelist; born in Baltimore, MD, in 1810; died in 1866. He spent many years in journalism, and is author of ‘Books of Visions’ (1847); ‘Rural Sports: a Poem’ (1848); ‘The Western Merchant’ (1848); ‘Wild Western Scenes’ (1849); ‘The Rival Belles’ (1852); ‘Freaks of Fortune’ (1854); ‘A Rebel War Clerk’s Diary at the Confederate States Capital’ (1866).
